The Doc Holliday Shootout will be held
Saturday, April 11th, through Sunday, April 12th at the Wyomia Tyus Pickleball Complex in Griffin, Georgia.
The Doc Holliday Shootout Pickleball Tournament is more than just a competition; volunteers are the cornerstone of our local pickleball tradition. You do not have to be a member of SCPA to volunteer.
Every year, players from across the region descend upon Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park to honor the spirit of the game and the legacy of our community.
To keep this storied tradition running smoothly, we are in immediate need of volunteers from Friday thru Sunday.
Without a dedicated crew, we cannot provide the high-quality experience our athletes and spectators have come to expect over the years. We are looking for energetic individuals to assist with:
Player Check-in: Be the first face of hospitality for our visiting competitors.
Event Setup & Logistics: Utility volunteers help us transform Wyomia Tyus into a premier tournament venue.
Hospitality and Concession Stand: Ensure the energy stays high and the records stay accurate.
Medal Awards: Medal award presentation to division winners.
With the tournament dates rapidly approaching, our roster is not yet full. We are making a call for those who value our community’s pickleball heritage to step up.
Volunteer Support is critically needed!
Volunteers will be responsible for ensuring that all pre-tournament and post tournament requirements are in order and executed.
Please click the 'Register' button at the bottom of the volunteer roles listed.
Volunteers will receive a free meal while working a full shift.
Volunteers will be given shirts, if you do not have one already.
